Publishing Services is an accomplished team of technical editors, writers, statistical artists, technical illustrators, and formatting specialists. This team of professionals is located onsite to assist GRC's scientists, engineers, and other technical and management personnel in meeting their presentation and publication needs.
Publishing Services includes Graphics, Editorial, Layout, and the Coordination Office (where the publishing process begins and ends.)
NASA's Scientific and Technical Information (STI) Program exists locally at all of the NASA centers. At GRC, the Logistics and Technical Information Division (LTID) administers the STI program through several of its functional areas. LTID maintains these areas as components of the program and staffs them with professional providers of STI. These technical information experts prepare, publish, and collect GRC's scientific and technical information in diverse media: text, graphs, illustrations, photographs, videos, interactive multimedia, and World Wide Web pages.
For some examples of GRC-authored technical publications, take a look at GRC's Research & Technology (R&T) reports, which feature brief descriptions of GRC's ongoing research, and GLTRS, the GRC Technical Report Server, which features abstract and report documentation information for most of GRC's recently published technical reports.
