Duplicating Services
Glenn’s Duplicating Services, a division of the Logistics and Technical Information Division’s (LTID’s) Publishing Services, serves the in-house duplicating needs of Glenn civil servants, contractors, and grantees. The Duplicating Facility is equipped with high-end, black and white and color digital publishing systems that offer the Glenn community quick- turnaround, high-resolution document output.
 
  Customer Service
Duplicating Services' staff members are available to discuss job specifications, make suggestions to improve the product construction, help determine a realistic delivery date, give cost quotes, or assist customers with questions. Customers are encouraged to stop in or to call 216–433–3846 for assistance. Customers who wish to speak to the government Technical Representative for Duplicating and Printing Services are invited to contact Dennis.V.Dubyk@nasa.gov (216–433–5805).
 
  Location and Hours of Operation
The Duplicating Services facility is located onsite in building 21 annex, room 10, mail stop 21–1. Visitors may park in the designated spots reserved for Publishing Services customers at the southeast entrance to the annex. The Duplicating Services facility is open for business Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 
  Products and Services
Specializing in larger volumes, unique requirements, and custom finishing, customers can expect to receive finished products in brilliant photo-quality custom color or laser-perfect black and white. See the current list of services and rates.
 
  Placing an Order
  1. Complete a C–709 Work Request form. The C–709 form is available in hard copy from supply and electronically from the Glenn Electronic Forms Web site. Customers are asked to provide a valid task number for all requests. Funding numbers provided for duplicating black and white NASA Scientific and Technical Information (STI) (numbered-series reports) will be used for tracking purposes only.
  2. Submit the C–709 Work Request and original document and/or electronic file.
    • In person at the Duplicating Services facility in building 21 annex, room 5
    • Interoffice mail to Duplicating Services at mail stop 21–1
    • Electronically by following these instructions:
 
  Macintosh
  1. Under the GO pull down menu, select Connect to Server

  2. Enter smb://ltprint/dupedropoff and choose Connect

  3. Sign on as a Registered User and enter Windows userid and password

  4. Create a new folder/directory, if needed

  5. Copy files

  6. Remember to disconnect from the server
  Windows (shortcut)
  1. Right mouse click on the Desktop
  2. Select New; select Shortcut
  3. In the Command line, enter \\ltprint\dupedropoff and click Next >
  4. Rename the shortcut from the default, if desired, and select Finish
  5. Go to the Desktop and click on the new shortcut
  6. Create a new folder/directory, if needed
  7. Copy files
  Windows (alternative)
  1. Select My Network Places
  2. Select Entire Network
  3. Select Microsoft Windows Network
  4. Select LTID
  5. Select LTPRINT
  6. Open DupeDropOff folder
  7. Create a new folder/directory, if needed
  8. Copy files
 
  E-mailed files can be corrupted during transfer. Please use the preceding instructions to transfer files. For assistance, call 216–433–3846. Customers may e-mail the C–709 Work Request referencing file name and location.
 
  Copyright Policy
Copyrighted materials cannot be duplicated without written release from the copyright holder or author. It is the requester's responsibility to obtain a signed release and submit it with the C–709 Work Request.
 
  Billing
For charged services, Duplicating Services will initiate a purchase request using the task number provided on the work request. Customers are asked to provide a valid task number for all requests. Funding numbers provided for duplicating black and white NASA Scientific and Technical Information (STI) (numbered-series reports) will be used for tracking purposes only.
